The city of Newcastle

Newcastle is in a spectacular setting on the banks of the river Tyne
The center is quite collected so that you can explore on foot, and get to the subway from most isolated places. It is one of the cities known worldwide for its thriving nightlife, in fact, has recently been voted the city with the most progress in the world! There is an incredible variety of places with thousands of Geordies (as its inhabitants call themselves) that go out on the Toon (affectionate name they have given to town).

South of Newcastle is Durham, with its magnificent cathedral, while further north is Northumberland, with a coastline and well-preserved countryside.
